Welcome to use LongCat!

In order to use LongCat products and services (hereinafter referred to as "this Service"), you should carefully read and understand this LongCat Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement") and the LongCat Privacy Policy as well as the various service rules of this Service. Please read and understand each clause carefully, especially those clauses that exempt or limit LongCat's liability, clauses that restrict user rights, clauses that stipulate dispute resolution methods and jurisdiction, etc. Clauses that limit or exempt liability or other clauses that involve your significant rights will be highlighted in bold to draw your attention.

If you check, click to confirm, register, log in, use, or otherwise express acceptance of this Agreement by any explicit or implied means, it will be deemed that you have read and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, you may stop using this Service.

If you are under 18 years old, please read and judge whether you agree to this agreement under the supervision and accompaniment of your guardian, and use this service under the guidance of your guardian. Do not excessively rely on and indulge in using this service. In addition, you should pay special attention to the terms of use for minors.

# I. Parties and Scope of Agreement

  1. Main Terms of Agreement. This agreement is jointly concluded between the user or you who uses the LongCat service and the LongCat service operator Beijing Kuxun Interactive Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “LongCat”, “Meituan” or “we”). This agreement is binding on both you and us, and you can check the information published by LongCat at any time to determine the legal entity information with whom you are fulfilling the contract. Under this agreement, the LongCat service operator may change due to adjustments in LongCat's business. The changed business entity will fulfill this agreement with you and provide services to you. The change in the business entity will not affect your rights under this agreement.

  2. Composition of this Agreement. The LongCat Privacy Policy, the terms of use for certain service modules, and individual service rules (collectively referred to as the "LongCat Service Rules") are all integral parts of this Agreement and are inseparable from it, having equal legal effect. If you use LongCat or related services, it is deemed that you agree to all the above rules of the Agreement. In addition, this service uses the unified Meituan account service, therefore if there is any conflict between the text of this Agreement and the Meituan User Service Agreement, this Agreement shall prevail; where this Agreement is unclear, ambiguous or not specified, the provisions in the Meituan User Service Agreement shall prevail.

  3. Amendment to this Agreement. We may adjust this Agreement or service rules based on legal requirements, changes in service content, etc. The adjustments will be posted on the website (or through push notifications, pop-ups, or other lawful means). You can review the latest version of the Agreement on the relevant page. If you continue to use the service after the Agreement is adjusted, it indicates that you have agreed to the modified content. If you do not accept the adjusted Agreement, you may stop using the service.

# II. Service Declaration

  1. Service Scope: We may provide services to users through various forms such as web, PC client, mobile applications (including different versions), and mini-programs, with an ever-expanding functional interface. The specifics will be as published by us.

  2. LongCat is provided by us, leveraging large language models such as Meituan Tonghui AI Model, to offer various artificial intelligence services to users. These services include, but are not limited to, generating outputs from one or more inputs (in simple terms, when you input a prompt in this service, it generates responses based on its own knowledge or content from other public sources). A "prompt" is a common type of input, typically in text form, used to convey the characteristics of the desired output.

  3. If you use the "Search" function, we will retrieve public information from the Internet based on the information and instructions you input, and generate corresponding content. To avoid ambiguity, if we detect that you have the intention to use the "Search" function or you have actively selected it, we will automatically search for public information from third-party sources using non-manual retrieval methods. This is to obtain more information for the model to learn and understand, and thus respond to your input prompt. LongCat will display the sources and relevant content below the response. Please note that the public information (such as web pages) shown in the sources are created by third parties, and the response content is an automated intelligent integration of public source content based on the cross-domain knowledge and natural language understanding capabilities of the artificial intelligence large model. However, this does not mean that LongCat endorses the public source information or the response content or stance. Moreover, even if sources are cited, the response may still contain errors.

  4. Service Scenarios and Purposes: This service is intended for personal learning, research, appreciation, daily life, and entertainment use. Without Meituan's permission, you must not use the LongCat service or the outputs based on this service for commercial purposes.

  5. Target Audience: This service is primarily intended for adults with full civil capacity. If you are under 18 years old or do not have full civil capacity, please read and fully understand this agreement carefully with the guidance of your legal guardian, and obtain their consent. Use this service properly under the supervision and guidance of your guardian.

  6. The registration status and basic principles of the large model and algorithm underlying this service can be found in Details and Documentation on the LongCat Algorithm and Model Registration.

# III. Account Registration and Management

  1. LongCat service uses the unified Meituan account service. You can use your Meituan account to conveniently log in and use LongCat services after authorization.

  2. You can complete the registration for your LongCat user account by providing a mobile phone number and completing dynamic verification. To ensure the completeness and convenience of user services, if the mobile phone number you provide has not previously registered a Meituan account, a Meituan account will be registered when you use this phone number for verification. You can then log in and use LongCat with this Meituan account. Alternatively, you can choose to use our third-party platform account authorization login function to register and log in with a user account from a legally owned third-party platform, except where the third-party platform imposes restrictions or prohibits it. You should ensure that the user account from the third-party platform you use has completed real-name identity authentication and complies with relevant laws and regulations.

  3. You can complete the registration for your LongCat user account through other registration methods provided by LongCat. When you fill in the information as indicated on the registration page, read and agree to this agreement, and complete all registration procedures, you will obtain a LongCatAI account and become a LongCat user.

  4. You are required to ensure that the registration information you provide is truthful, accurate, lawful, and valid, and to update it promptly when necessary. If you refuse to provide registration information, or if the submitted details are found to be inaccurate, false, non-compliant, or if we have reason to suspect they are incorrect, misleading, or unlawful, you may be denied access to this service.

  5. In order to meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, regarding real-name registration for accounts and to help you enjoy a more convenient user experience, when you log in to LongCat using your Meituan account, with your consent, we will sync and link your LongCat and Meituan accounts and related content. This includes synchronizing account details such as your nickname, profile picture, and the phone number associated with your account when you log in to LongCat using your Meituan account, as well as other information you authorize us to access.

  6. We have the right to review the account information you submit. If we find that your account may involve fraudulent activities or other abnormal situations or risks, we have the right to re-verify your account and, based on the risk situation, may take measures such as requiring rectification within a specified period, limiting functions, suspending use, closing the account, prohibiting re-registration, and other handling measures stipulated in this agreement. If we discover any fraudulent or other illegal leads or risk information, we have the right to transfer the information to public security, financial, telecommunications, and cyberspace authorities in accordance with relevant national regulations, based on the type and severity of the fraud risk.

  7. In order to safeguard your account security, please keep your account and password secure. This service account is intended for your personal use only. You are not permitted to gift, lend, rent, transfer, sell, or otherwise authorize others to use the account. Any responsibility for account theft resulting from your failure to properly secure the account shall be borne by you. If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that the user is not the original registrant of the account, to protect account security, we have the right to immediately suspend or terminate the services provided to the account and to permanently disable the account. If your account is subject to operations or usage by someone other than yourself, please notify us immediately to prevent further loss or consequences.

  8. If your account is stolen, you have forgotten your password, or you are unable to log in normally for other reasons, you can appeal through our appeal process. We will need you to provide relevant information, otherwise we may not be able to help you recover your account. Our response and the measures we take require a reasonable timeframe, and we are not liable for losses caused by reasons beyond our control.

  9. We provide an account deletion function for you, and you can delete your account through the online deletion method provided by Meituan or through the official communication channels we provide.

# IV. Rules for Identifying AI-Generated Synthetic Content

To comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as the "Measures for the Labeling of Artificial Intelligence Generated and Synthesized Content" and national standards like "Cybersecurity technology—Labeling method for content generated by artificial intelligence" (GB 45438-2025) regarding the identification of AI-generated synthetic content (hereinafter referred to as "AI content identification"), and to prevent user confusion or misidentification, this service will add corresponding identifiers to content generated through AI technology. The specific identification methods and styles are as follows:

  1. Explicit identification:

(1) Dialogue interaction scenarios: We will add identification information such as "Content generated by AI" at the bottom of the dialogue interaction interface of this service and keep it continuously displayed, indicating that the content is generated and synthesized by artificial intelligence.

(2) Text content: We will add "Content generated by AI" and other identification information at the bottom of the text to indicate that the content is generated and synthesized by artificial intelligence.

  1. User's obligation to identify AI content and responsibility for its use

(1) When you create, publish, or disseminate content generated or synthesized using artificial intelligence technology (including but not limited to text, images, videos, etc.), you should mark it in a prominent manner to alert the public.

(2) You may apply to obtain generated synthetic content without explicit identifiers and are fully responsible for any subsequent use of such content, including but not limited to fulfilling labeling obligations in accordance with the law, bearing the responsibility for use, etc. We will retain logs related to your application to obtain user information without explicit identifiers and other relevant logs for no less than six months in accordance with the law.

(3) You should carefully read and understand the identification rules of this service, your identification obligations and related responsibilities, as well as the requirements for identification management under relevant AI identification laws and regulations. Do not maliciously delete, alter, fabricate, or conceal any explicit or implicit identifiers added by this service, and do not use improper identification means to infringe on others' legitimate rights and interests.

# V. User Rights and Obligations and Behavioral Standards

  1. You acknowledge and agree that when using this service, you must comply with relevant laws and regulations and must not use this service to engage in activities that violate laws and regulations, affect normal service provision, or infringe on others' legitimate interests:

(1) You are not allowed to input or use this service to create, copy, publish, or disseminate any illegal information containing the following content: Those that oppose the basic principles established by the constitution; Those that endanger national security, leak state secrets, subvert state power, or disrupt national unity; Those that damage national honor and interests; Those that distort, caricature, defile, or negate the deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs, or insult, defame, or otherwise infringe upon the names, portraits, reputations, or honors of heroes and martyrs; Those that promote terrorism, extremism, or incite terrorist or extremist activities; Those that incite ethnic hatred or discrimination, or disrupt ethnic unity; Those that violate national religious policies, promote superstition, or feudal superstitions; Those that spread rumors, disrupting economic and social order; Those that disseminate obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror, or incite crimes; Those that insult or defame others, infringing upon others' reputations, privacy, and other legitimate rights; Those that infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of minors or harm their physical and mental health; Pornographic and obscene information related to minors; False news or harmful false information; Any other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.

(2) You are not allowed to input or utilize this service to create, copy, publish, or disseminate inappropriate information containing the following content: exaggerated headlines that are misleading or unrelated to the actual content; sensationalizing gossip, scandals, or negative incidents; making inappropriate remarks about natural disasters or major accidents; content with sexual innuendos or provocative elements that may lead to sexual associations; graphic, gory, or disturbing material that causes discomfort; inciting discrimination against groups or regions; promoting vulgar or lowbrow content; content that could encourage minors to imitate unsafe actions, violate social norms, or develop unhealthy habits; and any other content that could harm the online environment.

(3) You are not allowed to use this service to engage in any activities that harm network security or the operation of this service, including but not limited to: illegal network intrusions, interfering with normal network functions, stealing network data, and other activities that harm network security; providing programs or tools specifically designed for activities such as network intrusions, interfering with normal network functions and protective measures, and stealing network data; knowingly providing technical support, promotion, payment settlement, or other assistance to others who are engaged in activities that harm network security; cracking, damaging, deleting, modifying, or adding to network services and related software and hardware facilities; deleting, modifying, or adding to data and applications stored or transmitted in computer information networks; stealing passwords through software or hardware means or illegally intruding into others' computer systems; intentionally creating or spreading destructive programs such as computer viruses; conducting reverse engineering, reverse assembly, reverse compilation, translation, or other attempts to discover the source code, models, algorithms, or system source code or underlying components of this service; interfering with the normal operation and order of this service through automated scripts, programs, tools, or any plugins or third-party tools; and other activities that harm network security or the operation of this service.

(4) You must not use this Service for any of the following non-compliant activities that violate laws and regulations or infringe upon our rights or the legitimate rights and interests of any third party: Engaging in activities that endanger national security and interests, damage national image, infringe upon public interests, or disrupt economic and social order; Establishing websites or communication groups for purposes such as committing fraud, teaching criminal methods, or manufacturing or selling prohibited or controlled items; Using the Internet to release information related to committing fraud, manufacturing or selling prohibited or controlled items, or other illegal activities; Engaging in acts that infringe upon intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other acts that violate business ethics; Using the Service to harm others' physical and mental health, or infringe upon others' portrait rights, reputation rights, honor rights, privacy rights, or personal information rights; Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities; Using this Service or content generated by this Service to develop products, services, or models that may compete with this Service; Copying, transferring, renting, lending, selling, or sub-liciting all or part of this Service without our authorization; Using the Service in any other way prohibited or restricted by laws and regulations, or that may harm public interests, our interests, or the legitimate interests of third parties.

(5) You shall not engage in any malicious adversarial, evasive, or disruptive actions against the content security management and risk prevention mechanisms of this service, including but not limited to: circumventing or interfering with the content detection and identification mechanisms of this service in any way, including but not limited to using variants, homophones, garbled text, special characters, irrelevant context insertion, split expressions, and other technical means that may hinder normal security reviews; impersonating others, conducting reverse induction, initiating jailbreak attacks, constructing malicious prompts, or engaging in any other form of system attacks, inducement, or poisoning in order to interfere with, disrupt, or mislead the normal operation or security mechanisms of this service; any other malicious adversarial actions against the content security management and risk prevention mechanisms of this service.

  1. You understand and agree that the content you input when using this service (including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio, animations, etc.) is either original or legally authorized by you, and does not infringe on any intellectual property rights, portrait rights, reputation rights, honor rights, name rights, privacy rights, personal information rights, or other legitimate rights and interests of any individual. It does not involve any state secrets, commercial secrets, important data, or other data that may have a negative impact on national security or public interest. Any resulting risks and liabilities from infringement are borne by you. You are also responsible for all direct and indirect losses (including but not limited to economic losses, reputational damage, litigation expenses, attorney fees, etc.) that we may suffer as a result.

  2. You must not obtain and use this service at a frequency beyond normal limits, or attempt to use this service abnormally by falsifying clicks, generating false requests, or other technical means, or by using this service through methods such as registering a large number of accounts or using false identity documents to register accounts.

  3. You acknowledge and understand that if we discover that you are using generative AI services to generate and disseminate illegal and harmful information, we have the right to promptly take measures such as stopping transmission and elimination; if we find that you are using generative AI services to engage in activities that violate this agreement or relevant laws and regulations, we have the right to independently determine and take measures such as warnings, function restrictions, service suspension, account closure, or suspension or termination of service provision, and pursue relevant legal liabilities. For any consequences that result from this, such as your inability to use your account and related services, inability to access assets or other rights within your account, we shall not bear any responsibility. We have the right to announce the results of the handling and the right to decide whether to restore the use of relevant accounts based on the actual circumstances. For actions suspected of violating laws and regulations or suspected of being illegal or criminal, we will retain relevant records and report to and cooperate with relevant authorities for investigation as required by law.

# VI. Intellectual Property and Other Rights

  1. Meituan is the owner of the intellectual property rights of the programs, software, algorithms, models, etc. relied upon by this service. The copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights of this service are protected by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the corresponding international treaties. Meituan lawfully enjoys the aforementioned intellectual property rights, except for the rights that the relevant right holders should enjoy according to the law. The commercial identifiers, including but not limited to the text and graphics of "LongCat" used by Meituan in this service, are owned by Meituan. Without the written consent of Meituan or the relevant right holders, you shall not implement, utilize, transfer, or license the aforementioned intellectual property rights to a third party, nor shall you use the content of this service (including but not limited to adaptation, reproduction, dissemination, web crawling, vertical search, mirroring, or trading) without authorization.Without Meituan's permission, you shall not use any trademarks, service marks, business names, domain names, website names, company logos (LOGO), URLs, or other distinctive brand features, including but not limited to "longcat", related to this product. You shall not display, use, or apply for trademark registration, domain name registration, or any other actions with respect to the aforementioned identifiers, either individually or in combination with any other means. You shall not act in a way that explicitly or implicitly suggests you have the right to display, use, or otherwise handle these identifiers.

  2. Meituan grants you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and non-commercial right to legally use this software and related services.All other rights not expressly granted under this agreement are retained by Meituan. You must obtain Meituan's prior written consent before exercising such rights, and Meituan's failure to exercise any of the aforementioned rights shall not constitute a waiver of such rights.

  3. You understand and agree that the input content should be content with intellectual property rights owned by the user or legally authorized by the rights holder, and there should be no content that violates applicable laws and regulations, infringes upon others' legitimate rights and interests (including but not limited to intellectual property rights such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, and other rights such as portrait rights, reputation rights, honor rights, name rights, privacy rights, personal information rights, etc.), or violates public order and good customs.

  4. You understand and agree that, without infringing on our and third parties' legitimate rights and interests and within the scope permitted by law, the intellectual property rights of the content you input between you and us, within the scope permitted by applicable law, belong to the inputter or the legal rights holder of such intellectual property. The use of AI tool services by users will not affect the ownership rights of the input content.

  5. Under the condition that the legitimate intellectual property rights or other rights of others are not infringed and this agreement is complied with, within the scope permitted by law, the intellectual property rights and related interests of the content output by this service belong to the user or the rights holder who legally owns such intellectual property rights. This service does not claim the intellectual property rights and related interests of the output content, and the user's use of this service will not affect the ownership of the aforementioned content. If the input and/or output itself contains content over which we hold intellectual property rights or other legitimate rights, the corresponding rights of the aforementioned input and/or output remain with us and will not change their ownership merely because they are included in the output.

  6. To enhance your user experience with this software and related services, and to better share and promote your content, you grant Meituan and/or its affiliates a free, global, transferable, sub-licensable, and re-licensable right to use your content within the scope permitted by law, for example, for model service optimization, brand promotion, and publicity.

  7. We respect the intellectual property rights and other legitimate rights and interests of the right holders, and actively take effective measures to protect the intellectual property rights and other legitimate rights and interests of others. If the intellectual property rights or other right holders believe that our services infringe on their legitimate rights and interests, they may report or complain through the channels stipulated in this agreement, provide feedback on your opinions, and provide relevant supporting materials. We will take your opinions seriously and take appropriate measures in accordance with the law.

# VII. User personal information protection

  1. We will take measures to protect the personal information of the user. Except for the circumstances stipulated by laws, we will not disclose the personal information of the user to third parties without the user's permission. We adopt encryption methods to store and transmit the personal information of the user to ensure the security of the user's personal information. In the process of using this software and related services, you may need to provide your personal information so that we can provide you with better services and corresponding technical support.

  2. We will protect your rights to browse, view, copy, correct, modify, supplement, delete relevant personal information, and withdraw authorization in accordance with the law. We will use encryption technology, anonymization processing, and other technical measures and security measures that match this service to protect your personal information. You can read LongCat Privacy Policy to learn more.

# VIII. Risk Disclosure and Liability Limitations

  1. All outputs provided by this service are generated by an artificial intelligence model. Due to technical limitations, errors or omissions may occur, and the outputs are for your reference only. You should not rely on the output content as professional advice. In particular, when using this service to consult on medical, legal, financial, psychological, educational, or other professional matters, please note that this service does not constitute any advice or commitment and does not represent the opinion of any professional field. If you need professional services, you should consult a professional and make decisions under the guidance of a professional. The output from this service should not serve as a basis for your further actions or inactions. Any judgments you make or subsequent actions based on the output content are at your own risk and responsibility, including any risks arising from your reliance on the content's authenticity, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, or ability to meet specific purposes. You should scientifically and rationally understand and use generative artificial intelligence technology in accordance with the law.

  2. We are committed to providing secure, stable, and continuous services. We will make every effort to provide corresponding security measures based on existing technologies to ensure your normal use. However, there are inherent limitations and constraints in AI technology itself, and we cannot guarantee that:

(1) this service or algorithm model will meet your actual or specific needs or purposes; (2) this service or algorithm model is 100% accurate and reliable, functional, stable, and free from faults; (3) The large language model and related technologies relied upon by this service can fully understand the content input by users as humans do, but you should understand that it may not be able to identify potential risks and ethical issues in your input content or the content generated by this service; (4) Authenticity, completeness, accuracy, legality, timeliness, and practicality of generated content; (5) Generated content should not have flaws, contain false information, or be unreasonable or cause discomfort to users.

In this regard, please exercise caution and discernment in the content generated by this service, and make rational judgments based on your actual circumstances. Please use this service prudently, rationally, and in accordance with the law.

  1. Unless otherwise stated in the relevant interfaces of this Service, or unless otherwise agreed between you and us, or unless otherwise required by law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this Service.

  2. Extraterritoriality: Meituan controls and provides LongCat services through facilities within the People's Republic of China. We do not guarantee that the services we control or provide are appropriate or feasible in other countries or regions. Users who use LongCat services in other jurisdictions should ensure that they comply with local laws and regulations on their own.

  3. We obtain the right to handle non-compliant content as stipulated in this agreement, which does not constitute an obligation or commitment on our part. We cannot guarantee the timely detection of violations or the corresponding handling.

  4. You understand and agree that with respect to this Service, we provide no express or implied warranties or conditions of any kind, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and you assume all risks associated with your use of this Service.

# IX. Liability for Breach

  1. You fully understand and agree that you are responsible for your actions and the consequences resulting from your use of this service. You should exercise your own judgment when using this service, including assessing the risks associated with relying on the accuracy, integrity, or practicality of the content you encounter. In the event of any actions that violate this agreement or other service terms, we reserve the right to independently assess and take appropriate measures, such as issuing advance warnings, rejecting submissions, immediately halting information transmission, deleting content or comments, temporarily prohibiting content or comment submissions, restricting certain or all account functionalities, or terminating service provision, or permanently closing the account. We do not assume any responsibility for any resulting consequences, such as your inability to use the account or related services, access assets or other rights within your account, etc. We have the right to publicize the outcomes of such actions and the discretion to determine whether to restore the use of affected accounts. For actions that may violate laws or regulations or constitute criminal offenses, we will retain relevant records and have the right to report to relevant authorities, cooperate with investigations, and file reports with the police as required. Deleted content will not be restored.

  2. You warrant that any text, images, videos, audio, links, or other content you input, generate, upload, create, comment on, publish, or disseminate in any other way through this service does not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights, reputation rights, name rights, privacy rights, or other rights and/or legal interests. If any claims, demands, or losses are made by a third party due to your violation of this agreement, you shall be solely responsible; if Meituan suffers any losses as a result, you shall also be liable for compensation.

  3. If you cause us losses by violating laws, regulations, or the terms of this agreement, or if you interfere with the operation of this service, or interfere with other users' use of this service, we have the right to claim compensation from you.

# X. Non-compliant Information Complaint and Reporting

  1. If you find that this service or the content generated by this service violates laws and regulations, internet or cultural management policies, social public order and good customs, or affects the normal operation of society, or infringes on your legitimate rights and interests (such as intellectual property, personal information, portrait rights, reputation rights, etc.), please contact us at any time for complaints or reports. We will promptly conduct investigations and confirmations. If we find that the situation you have complained or reported about indeed exists, we will take reasonable measures in accordance with the law, such as stopping generation, stopping transmission, eliminating non-compliant content, and correcting algorithm models.

  2. As required by law, we will report any issues we find in this service or the content generated by this service to the relevant authorities.

# XI. Changes and Termination of Service

  1. We will make necessary changes to this service based on the development of the Internet, business development, and changes in laws and regulations, such as adjusting service content or suspending or terminating the service. We will notify users through prominent means (such as app push, in-site push, service announcements, etc.).

  2. This Agreement shall automatically terminate or be rescinded in the event of the following circumstances:

(1) We stop providing this service; (2) We or either of you cease to exist or no longer have the legal capacity to act as a civil legal entity due to reasons such as dissolution of the organization, bankruptcy, liquidation, etc.; (3) If you request to cancel your account and it is approved by us, or if we otherwise stop providing this service.

# XII. Terms for Minors
